Seahawks Defeat Redskins – Falcons Rise Up

The Seattle Seahawks came to Washington and handled their business today against the Redskins. After falling behind by 2 touchdowns, the Seahawks scored 24 unanswered points to win 24-14. Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch did just enough to advance to the second round of the playoffs. Unfortunately for the Seahawks fans, your road to the Superbowl will end at the Georgia Dome next week. I just don’t believe a rookie quarterback and an inexperienced supporting cast will be able to win a game on the road against the Atlanta Falcons.

I have a big question for Redskins coach Mike Shanahan, why did you allow RG III to play the entire game after watching him limp after a 14 point lead in the first quarter? Don’t get me wrong, I am not a Redskins fan, but it really freaked me out to see Robert Griffin III on the field after re injuring his leg. Of coarse he’s a competitor with a strong desire to win and a gigantic heart, I believe the backup QB would have been good enough to protect their lead.
