Spike Lee directed Michael Jackson Bad 25th anniversary special (video)

It’s been 25 years since the making of the one of the greatest pop albums of all time (Bad) and perhaps 25 years later, it would still be considered as one of the ultimate classic albums. To many, Thriller may have been Michael Jackson’s best selling album; however, it was Bad that gave MJ the King of Pop title. Michael Jackson was not only a musical influence to many; furthermore. he influenced choreography, dance, fashion, etc.

In this short documentary, Bad 25, directed by the great Spike Lee, fans get to witness unseen footage of Michael’s recording process for his 1987 iconic Bad album as well as be surprised to which songs nearly didn’t make the final cut for the album. Guest appearances includes people who Michael worked with as well as admired, from Martin Scorsese, who directed the Bad video, Siedah Garrett (Man In The Mirror, I Just Can’t Stop Loving You), Quincy Jones (executive producer for Off The Wall, Thriller and Bad), Cee-lo Green, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Questlove, Sheryl Crow (actress and former background vocalist for Michael Jackson), Greg Phillinganes (Michael’s keyboardist), Tatiana Thumbtzen and a list of others.
