I appreciate the guest post, Ignacio Phillips

I saw something ridiculous when I was reading the Huffington Post this morning using the internet service that I recently upgraded at wirelessinternetproviders.net. It was in the “Crime/ Weird News” sections. It turns out that a police station in Pennsylvania was have a fridge thief. Someone was going to the break room fridge and stealing the Monster Drinks from the officers. They decided to set up a video camera and catch the break room thief. So it turns out that the Monster Energy drink thief was actually another police office on the squad. The police office was stealing other people’s drinks! How embarrassing for him! He shouldn’t have been taking them, but now is has been charged with petty theft, suspended from the force, and the video of him stealing from the fridge has gone viral. I bet he wishes that he hadn’t stolen those energy drinks from the break room! I know that if he could take it back that he would. He may not be able to get another job anytime soon!

Mayweather vs Cotto Press Conference

May 5th is the day it all goes down. After several unsuccessful attempts to arrange a mega fight with Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather came to an agreement to fight Miguel Cotto. Cotto is a dangerous opponent for the undefeated Mayweather. He hits hard and has a very impressive record, however he was destroyed by Pacquiao in a recent fight. Cotto has little to lose but alot to gain if he pull off the upset.

Last night, Jim Jones was maced and arrested after participating in a major brawl at a Connecticut casino.
According to TMZ, the Dipset emcee was leaving a Diddy-hosted party at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods when an unidentified man approached him and began talking some trash. The Capo tried to ignore him but was punched in the face, at which point he fought back in what he claims was self-defense.
Both men’s crews jumped in and the fight turned into an all-out brawl. Police arrived on the scene to break up the fight, and when they attempted to arrest Jones, he fought back. He was then maced and arrested by five cops.
Jones was later released on bond.

Tyga – Rack City Remix ft. Wale, Fabolous, Young Jeezy, Meek Mill, TI

This is a awesome remix!!! It kinda reminds me of an all-star lineup of emcees. TI and Fab on the same track, that’s a classic already. Then you got Jeezy to compliment them. Let’s not forget the rookies of hiphop, Wale, Meek Mill, and Tyga. I don’t know who’s idea this was, but overall its a great combination of rappers. They all performed well also. You gotta check this one out……

Gay Atlanta Man Jumped By Down low Guys

The infamous beating the gay man took in Atlanta a couple of weeks age makes a big turn. Instead of it being a hate crime against a gay person, it turns out to be retaliation over threats to release a video. According to news media, at least one of the accusers knew the victim and was also a undercover homosexual. Check out the video below…….

DMX – I Don’t Dance ft. Machine Gun Kelly

DMX is bacccccckkkkkk!!!! This joint is heatin up the meter!! DMX is a real artist, he is so energetic. His lyrics on this song is not the greatest ever, but his delivery is definitely on a elite status. I remember rockin to DMX jams back in the day. Usually when a mega artist try to make a comeback, the product doesn’t live up to the hype. DMX seems to still have the hunger needed to pull it off. Oh yeah, Machine Gun Kelly verse was cool too. Hopefully this song will catapult the careers of both artist. Check out “I Don’t Dance” only on The Martacard Report

Gorillaz- DoYaThing (Feat. Andre 3000 and James Murphy) [Radio Edit]

Talking weird collaborations, this is weird to the 3000th degree. However, it’s that DOPE kind of weird, like that fashion you’re wondering how someone put what they’re wearing together to make it so cool instead of you being like WHAT THA FU^*?. How come it’s so weird you might ask? Well, it’s the Gorillaz of course. And then there is James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) and Andre 3000 (Outkast) on there, who SMASHED the joint. Oh, I’m not being bias because I’m from the ATL, yet this is kind of one of those things that makes me proud to rep. for the home time.

I’m not the only one representing. A writer from The Huffington Post says that “it’s one of the best collaborations we’ve heard in a while. “DoYaThing” is an ideal genetic hybrid; a composition that merges three genre pools, but still highlights the traits distinctive to each musician.”

Check out Gorillaz ‘DoYaThing’ below, featuring Andre 3000 (Outkast) and LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy.

Too Short – I’m A Stop ft 50 Cent, Twista, Devin

Too Short – I’m A Stop ft 50 Cent, Twista, Devin

If you are a Too Short fan, you gotta check this one out. One of the best releases from Short
in years! The beat is bangin, Devin The Dude is killing the hook, 50 Cent and Twista snapped. This one actually reminds me of a song off one of Devin’s classic albums. So far I have heard three new joints from Too Short, and this one is the best by far. I know the rap game has changed a lot in the recent years and this song might not get a lot of radio play. However, if we support the artist we like, they will continue to hit us with new music… Check “I’m A Stop” asap!!!!!!

DMX going-in on Drake and Rick Ross

DMX is hilarious. One thing no one can say about this guy is that he holds his tongue, because BOY, dude will go in on the world if he has to. His latest target; Drake and Rick Ross.

First up, X on Ricky Rozay:

“Rick Ross ‘looks’ more like Biggie,” X said, speaking to “Breakfast Club” co-host Charlamagne Tha God. “[He’s got lyrics?] Well I guess, I guess, I guess. I’m just not impressed, man. I’m not impressed. … He’s aight, man, he just talks about eating, girlfriends too much. How much can a n*gga eat? How much weed can you smoke? Like, aight. Let’s talk about something else. I know you got the Maybach, the Ashton Martin, OK. Good for you, d*mn. Come on. I see a whole ‘nother side of the coin, son.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

Next up, X on Drizzy Drake:

“No, no,” X said when asked if he likes Drake. “I don’t like anything about Drake. I don’t like his f*cking voice. I don’t like what he talks about, I don’t like his face, I don’t like the way he walks, I don’t like nothing. I don’t like his haircut. I might just — let me shut up. Stop right there.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

Either X is being a super duper hater or he’s just brutal in his honesty. Yet to say the least, it’s by all means hilarious.

Check out the interview DMX ‘Breakfast Club’ interview below.

Snoop Dogg “Sitting By The Water”

All I have to say is WOW. With all of my hard work and dedication to all of my involvements, I must say that a vacation to Brazil is much deserved. The bigg homie Snoop D-O dub knows how to motivate a homeboy. Oh and my homeboy E-Sun would be happy the picture for this post is so big. Chucch!

Check out Snoop Dogg “Sitting By The Water” video.

Whitney Houston vs Marvin Gaye – Star Spangled Banner

Since the death of Whitney Houston, many have relived the moment she song the national anthem at the 1991 Superbowl. Many believe that her performance of the Star Spangled Banner was the greatest ever. Some disagreed about that statement, saying that the late Marvin Gaye’s performance at the 1983 NBA Allstar Game was the greatest ever. Check out both performances and feel free to give us your opinion.

Robin Thicke Arrested For Smoking Weed

Earlier this week, r&b star Robin Thicke was arrested for possession of marijuana in Gramercy park in New York City. According to media sources, officers spotted Thicke smoking weed while sitting in his parked Cadillac Escalade. The charges were minor, in fact the officers asked for autographs and took pictures with him during his arrest.

Melanie Fiona – 4AM

The first time I heard this song, the melody caught my attention instantly. Once I focused on the lyrics, it made me think about a previous relationship I had a few years back. My answer to Melanie Fiona, “Just Go to Sleep Baby”. Just because he stayed out late doesn’t always mean he was out cheating.

My Hips Don’t Lie Singer signs with Roc Nation

As Wyclef say, “Shakira, Shakira”. And I’m saying it now. Y’all didn’t know that she’s my “secret” baby mama. Just kidding, but I do have a huge crush on her for many reasons inclusive to her rockin body. But anyway…..

It’s been reported that the Latina pop singer has signed to Roc Nation (Jay Z) management team. Da*n Jay, you got all the hunnies man; Beyonce (wifey), Rihanna, Melanie Fiona and now reportedly SHAKIRA.

The superstar Colombian singer has signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation for management, XXLMag.com has learned. The news definitely marks a coup for Roc Nation. With worldwide appeal, Shakira has sold more than 60 million albums and won 12 Billboard Latin Music Awards, eight Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammy Awards. With the signing to Roc Nation for management, Shakira joins the likes of Rihanna, Wale, Santigold and Melanie Fiona, who are all signed under Roc Nation’s management umbrella. Managed producers under Roc Nation include Jahlil Beats, No I.D. and S1. Signed Roc Nation artists of course include the company’s founder, Jay-Z, J. Cole, Jay Electronica, Rita Ora and Willow Smith, the daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. (XXL Mag)

Just incase you forgot, Shakira and Beyonce did make a video together. One word for it. HOT! Check it out below.

Boxing – Haye and Chisora Brawl after Klitschko fight

Who would have ever thought that two European Caucasian fighters would dominate the sport of heavyweight boxing. The Klitschko brothers are lining fighters up and whipping them one at a time. Saturday night, Chisora fought Vitali Klitschko and lost on all three scoring cards. While doing the post fight interview, David Haye, (who loss his last fight to Wladimir Klitschko) rudely interrupts them questioning Vitali about a shot at his title. Somehow Chisora’s and Haye starts criticizing each other and it led a brawl. You need to see this one.

A Young Golfer

Today I met a nine year old kid that loves the game of golf. He told me that he’s going to be the next Tiger Woods someday. I told him that he can, only if he believe in himself. The kid is passionate about golf already. Every Saturday I see him loading his golf clubs onto the truck to play a few holes with his dad.
When he’s not at the golf course, you can find little Steve in his backyard practicing with his golf putters. The kid spends hours at a time practicing his stroke. Sometimes I sit on the porch and watch him and his dad go over drills. He’s a student of the game and he even read magazines and watch footage on YouTube. In the next year or two, he’s going to be ready to compete with some of the best kid golfers in the city. Hopefully, I’ll be able to help find sponsorship for him in pursuit of a professional career in the sport he loves most.

Rakim – I Aint No Joke

Black History Month, gotta pay homage to hiphop legions such as Eric B & Rakim for paving the way for rap and hiphop music today. Before Lil Wayne, Jay Z, and Kanye, there were folk like Eric B &Rakim’, KRS-1, RUN DMC, Curtis Blow, and many more pioneers of Rap/Hiphop. Many thought rap would fade into thin air over a course of years, but now it is the most influential genre in music today…. Check out “I Aint No Joke” by Eric B & Rakim
