Shout out to Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic. Last night vs Golden State Warriors, Howard was unstoppable. He dominated the paint with 23 rebounds while scoring 45 points as the Magic beat the Warriors 117-109. As a strategy to slow down Howard, the Warriors resorted to the “hack a Shaq rule”, made famous by Shaquille O’neal. Since Howard struggles on the free throw line, he was fouled several times intentionally. As a result, he shot 39 foul shoots (An NBA Record) converting only 21 of them. Howard’s performance broke the previous record of 34 set by Wilt Chamberlain on Feb. 22, 1962.
