BREAKING NEWS: Atlanta rapper Slim Dunkin Gunned Down

Atlanta rapper Slim Dunkin, known for his Brick Squad Monopoly affiliation with Waka Flocka Flame, was reportedly gunned down Friday (December 16) in a Georgia recording studio. It has been reported that the shooting took place as he was on his way to a photo shoot. He later died at the Grady Memorial Hospital (Atlanta, GA). Atlanta Police Department investigation say that the Brick Squad Monopoly rapper was fatally shot in the chest at around 5:30 P.M. after he got involved in a verbal altercation with another individual.

Police are still searching for the murder weapon and possible suspects.

Maj. Keith Meadows said police have not been able to identify the shooter. He said 13 to 20 people were in the small office-type building in southeast Atlanta at the time of the shooting, which took place around 5:30 p.m., but they were in different places. “We’ve questioned a number of witnesses inside the recording studio at this time.” Meadows said. Police have not recovered the handgun that was used. Investigators remained at the scene late Friday evening. (CBS News)
