Does Your Dog Have Mange
What is mange? Mange is a contagious skin disease caused by microscopic mites. These mites burrow into the skin and deplete nutrients from the dog. Mange on dogs are common to some breeds. The first visual signs you’ll see are small patches of hair loss on your pet. Those small patches will become larger as the disease spreads. If left untreated, the majority of the dog’s hair will shed leaving him or her coat-less and irritated. If you notice any of these symptoms on your dog, seek treatment. Remember dogs are man’s best friend!
