Since the release of their Idlewild album, the musical soundtrack to their movie by the same name, fans across the globe have been itching for one more Outkast album. Both Big Boi and Dre 3 Stacks aka Andre 3000 has kept fans on their toes as they both have featured on other artists tracks dropping dope verses that have you pissing in your pants, or missing Andre on Big Boi’s general acclaimed Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty album (which is a masterpiece by the way), due to record label roadblocks.
Well being that music mogul, L.A. Reid, one half of LaFace Records, and former CEO at Def Jams, has now been promoted as chairman of Epic Records, Big Boi hopes the move will reunite him with his partner in rhyme. “I think it’s very much possible because we have L.A. Reid in our corner now, and he was the first to sign Outkast,” Big Boi said, referring to the record executive’s recent jump from chairman of Island Def Jam Music Group to Epic Records (Rolling Stones)
Let’s hope the dices are rolled with inside the label(s) for an Outkast reunion.
