During their United Kingdom performance at the Alton Towers in Staffordshire, England, Fergie, who is 1/4 of the Black Eyed Peas and only female in the group announced the multi-million album selling group will take an indefinite hiatus as she told the concert goers that “it’s the last time we’re going to be in England for a long time.” This isn’t the first time B.E.P. has taken a hiatus, for from 2005-2009 the group took a break following their Monkey Business release, yet still continued to record their own solo projects as well as do multiple album features.
Frontman Will.I.Am hit up twitter to way in on the group’s “indefinite” disbandment.
“The @Bep will take a break after the beginning…just like we did from monkey business to the e.n.d…but it doesn’t mean we stop creating,” Will tweeted July 6th. (Will.i.am’s Twitter)
Sure they won’t stop creating. With an economy like this, would you? Either way it goes, B.E.P. will be missed, as they have in a major way kept the spirit of Michael Jackson alive through their collaborative efforts in music.
Thank you Black Eyed Peas.
