Actress Nia Long revealed Friday she is expecting a child with pro basketball player Ime Udoka.
“This is the most exciting time in our lives,” Long, 40, and Udoka, 33, told People magazine in a joint statement, confirming that the baby is due in the fall. “Words can’t explain how thrilled we are by the new addition to our family. We feel truly blessed and appreciate all the well wishes and prayers,” the statement added. Long, who starred in “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and “Big Momma’s House,” already has a 10-year-old son from a previous relationship with the actor Massai Z. This will be the first child for Nigerian-American basketball player Udoka. He was waived by the San Antonio Spurs in January after playing sparingly in 20 games.
